We had the second trimester ultrasound and ... it's a BOY!

Ive posted some clips from the ultrasound for your viewing pleasure. The first clip focuses on his hands and feet. In this clip he is facing you while lying on his side as the ultrasound scans through his arms and legs.

The second clip is of him in profile. You can see his head in profile and his heart beating in his chest. His head and face look a little alien-like at some points in the clip, but that's all normal, its just the way the ultrasound beam sees through things.

In a few months, we'll have a 4-D ultrasound, which is even better quality and a little less confusing to look at. It's one of the perks of being a radiologist-in-training. Ill be sure to post that when we get it.

Ginny's doing great and we're both real excited to add another boy to the family (Ginny's sister, Jane, has two). The due date is Sept 15th. Now we just have to come up with a name...we're welcoming any suggestions.
