Owen William Zimmerman finally has arrived!!!

After allowing his parents one last night on the town Friday, Owen decided to make a fashionably late appearance, 1 week after his due date. He was born following 17 hours of labor which ended in a C-section due to failure to progress (his big head was never going to make it and he had the conehead to prove it when he was finally pulled out!). The first few days have been great - he is spending most of his time eating and sleeping. Occasionally, he will give us the pleasure of showing us his beautiful blue eyes. We were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and Owen got to enjoy his first car seat ride. We're settling in to life at home with the baby and coping with sleep deprivation. Here are some of the photos documenting his first few days of life. We promise to post more soon!
