On Sunday we had Easter dinner at the Zimmerman's place (Nana and Pop-Pop) along with Ginny's parents and Owen's two great-aunts and two great-grandmothers. This gave Ginny a chance to dress him up in his Easter outfit (some people thought he looked like he should be out golfing). We also finally had the Easter egg hunt. We were surprised how much Owen liked it - he ran around and collected every single egg and then was really disappointed when they were all done. I think it helped that we put a couple of chocolate chips or jelly beans in each egg.

Animals, Enchanted Forest, and Eggs
We had an exciting and busy Easter weekend. On Saturday, there was an Easter egg hunt scheduled at Clark's Farm in Columbia, which was unfortunately canceled for bad weather. That didn't stop us, though, and we went anyways; it was open, but muddy. The farm is an interesting combination of petting zoo and theme park with several farm animals and some refurbished items from the old Enchanted Forest (a nursery rhyme themed park which closed in the 80's - both of us went there as kids). Owen really loved the animals (baby lambs just 1 day old - too cute!) and also liked a few of the nursery rhyme characters that happened to be his size. He particularly enjoyed sitting on them. One of them was a creepy looking elf-like thing (see picture below) but Owen didn't seem to mind and gave him a kiss anyways.
