Trick or Treat!

This year Owen celebrated his 3rd Halloween and he got lots of practice trick-or-treating, attending many Halloween festivities. First, he went last weekend to Boo at the Zoo, an event at the Philadelphia Zoo where kids dress up in costumes and trick or treat around the Zoo. The weather was pretty yucky, raining for much of our visit, but that seemed to make the animals more active - check out Owen's encounter with a lion below. The next day we headed to Sesame Place for the Count's Halloween Spooktacular. Since it was one of the few days with good weather this October, it was pretty mobbed, but Owen still enjoyed riding the rides and posing for pictures with the Count and Abby Cadabby. And then came the actual Halloween Day which was action packed. First, we spent the morning trick-or-treating with Owen's friend Max at local businesses on Rittenhouse Row. Next, it was off to an afternoon Halloween party at his friend Ellie's house. Finally, we hit the Philly streets for some good old-fashioned trick-or-treating. Owen really seemed to love it all but was definitely exhausted by the end, passing up on the last few houses.
