We made the big move this past weekend from Philly, leaving our apartment after spending the last 9 years there. It was very bittersweet as we are both excited about the next steps and sad about leaving behind all the friends and memories we have in Philly. Owen seems pretty excited about the move, saying that he is looking forward to his "new house," "new zoo," "new school," and "new friends." But there was also one thing he would consistently say made him feel sad, leaving his best buddy Max who lives upstairs. It has been so great having such a great playmate so close, whether for an afternoon playdate, hanging out while snowed in during the winter, trick-or-treating, and so many other fun times. We had the chance to go together to Sesame Place as a final hurrah and the boys had a great time. We will all miss Max and his mommy Suzanne so much and know that whatever neighbors we have next will have big shoes to fill. . .
