Introducing Olivia Louise Zimmerman

We are very excited to announce the arrival of the newest addition to our family, Olivia Louise Zimmerman, who was born at 9:06 am on Friday March 4, 2011. She proved to be much more cooperative than either of her brothers, waiting until her scheduled delivery date, allowing her parents to be as prepared as possible (although we don't know if we could ever be fully prepared for what is ahead of us!). We chose her name to honor three very special women in our lives: Ginny's maternal grandmother Olive Krouse (may we hope Olivia inherits her energy and spirit), Ginny's paternal grandmother Louise Dye (who will hopefully give Olivia her wit and kind-heartedness), and Stefan's paternal grandmother Louise Zimmerman (who we would feel lucky if Olivia has her thoughtfulness and loving nature). Owen and Joey are smitten with their little sister already. Owen keeps saying she looks like "a princess" and Joey is surprisingly gentle with her.
