We spent this past weekend in Maryland and witnessed first hand the record-breaking 32 inches of snow that fell in Columbia from Friday-Saturday. We were stranded with Ginny's parents until the plows finally came by Monday morning. We had hoped to do some sledding or make snowmen, but there was so much snow and it was so fluffy that we really couldn't do much with it at all except trudge around (it was nearly over Owen's head). We returned to Philadelphia just in time to experience yet another blizzard. The snow fall from this storm has been only slightly less impressive so far - Owen's school was preemptively closed both Wednesday and Thursday and they have shut down all major highways in the area.
